Biography
I was born and raised in Delano, PA, in the frigid winter of October1959, Delano is a small railroading town in the eastern coal regions of PA. I started painting in acrylics in 1978 after spending a year at Kutztown Community College studying fine arts. After a year of college, I left and went to work in a Knitting Mill. I moved to Allentown Pa when I was 21 years old, to get closer to people like me and to start experiencing the Gay scene. I went from Mill work to Land Surveying and from Land surveying back to college to become a Radiographer. After graduating with a 2-year Associate degree and calling an end to a 10-year relationship, I decided I needed a change and I moved to Rehoboth Beach, DE and worked in an Orthopedic Practice as a Radiographer. I settled in Delaware, and this is Home. On my 40th Birthday, I was moping around the house feeling sorry for myself. I picked myself up in the evening and went out to a local bar, it was there that I met my soulmate, John. We have been together since my 40th birthday, on which John was the best birthday present I ever received. Now I'm 63yo and John is 60yo and we have had a wonderful 23 years together, the last 10 years being married and loving it. Now because of medical reasons and a mini stroke, in 2021, I have more time to paint if the tremors cooperate. We have made a good agreement. The tremors get my mornings and I get the afternoon and/or the evenings. I work in Acrylic, Oil, and Mixed Media. I don't paint in Watercolor that much anymore. I am a member of the Rehoboth Beach Art League and I sell my artwork in their facility located at 12 Dodd Lane, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971. Located in Henlopen Acres.
